I painted this man at the Spider House.  He had on a white box-tailed button-down shirt, leggings, and white mules.  I saw him again a few days later at Cafe Medici (another coffee house) in a similar outfit.

Love your work, it’s vitality and its boldness and your boldness in creating where you do.

    Hi, Owen.

Thanks! Just as I mentioned to John Erik, I almost took this one down. I see all of its flaws, so thanks for the positive feedback.

In the words of Owen, “Thrive”!

    Gosh, John.

It’s too pretty outside to be wired in! 🙂

Awwh, thanks – I was just about to take it down because I didn’t think it was that good. I’ll keep it up, now.

ps: I’m sitting out on my porch swing. Just came inside long enough to give my teenager a hard time before she bikes off to FFF at Waterloo Park.

    Hi, Grace!

Yes, and he has on headphones, too.

As you know, I don’t go back in and make changes to my “live” paintings once I get home to the studio. His hand is a bit offish – but, oh well. People move around a lot, you know?!

    Thank you,

    ~Lavanna Martin
