I Painted Mark McDermott at Epoch Coffee

This is my only attempt at painting at night. It is very hard!

OK, I cheated a little bit.  I asked if I could paint him.  I painted him at Epoch at night, causing all sorts of value/color and lighting problems.   I have only asked to paint someone once before, and I sucked so badly that I promised that I wouldn’t do it again.  But, this face, with the  chiseling  and porcelain singing through, and that black hair of the Black Irish, I couldn’t resist.

    Hi, Meli.

Yes, he is a very nice boy. He works and goes to school, studying web design. He was working on his laptop, and talking on his cell phone to relatives (quietly).

    ~thank you~

    Lavanna Martin
