I Painted Fabi at Quack’s Coffee and Bakery

Fabie was at Quack's before school

Fabi Reyna was at Quack's before school

I was just sitting down to paint at Quack’s when I heard someone say, “Hey there”.  I didn’t know that someone was talking to me.  Then, I heard, “Hey, Mrs. Martin, it’s me Fabi.”  Oh, it was my lucky day!  Fabi is one of my daughter’s good friends (they have a girl band together), and I am always trying to corner her friends to paint them when they come over to visit.  Fabi was gracious enough to sit at her table, facing me.

Comment, I like it!  Great motivator!

Lavanna, Your work is wonderful! Such movement, captured in such a short time. Very impressive! I think we met on this day…I was telling you about piano tuning after you sketched me. I must admit you caught my “vibe” very well in your painting. I’d love to see it someday!
Excellent work…really glad there’s a Lavanna out there.

      Hi, Jon.

Thanks for the appreciation! Were you the guy that I painted with the clock above his head? If so, you will be my next post. Stay tuned, and Merry Christmas – people are sure going to need their pianos tuned during the Advent Season!

      Thank you,
