I Painted John Erik Metcalf at Conjunctured

I painted John Erik Metcalf while he was at work at Conjunctured.  Now is a good time to repost his portrait, since he is very involved with SXSWi.  If it weren’t for the “Conjunctured Boys”, I wouldn’t have a blog.   They are helpful, smart, and will help Austin maintain it’s tech-savy edge.  I don’t understand very much of what they are into, they are way out there brilliant.  They’re nice guys, and nice will go far in any book.

Here are some links to some other sketches for your convenience so that you don’t have to flip pages. I will continue to add links. Please, would you be so kind to leave comments if you like what you see?

I know this is just random, but I found you by accident on Twitter. My name is Lavonia Martin and I’m also a working artist. 🙂 Just thought I’d say hello, thought it was an odd coincidence.

    Lovely, lovely work. Just stunning.

Ha! Hey, Lavonia, and I see that you have your own domain, too! Good names, that we have, huh?
